So, Send Me A Friend is what Anders wished he had at the time – a national network of “sober friends” that are on call to come to a show and offer a helping hand and source of support for struggling musicians. Our mission is to support newly-sober musicians and music industry professionals who are on the road to a new way of life by helping get them back to work again. Building A Network
We are actively seeking volunteers with over one year of continuous sobriety. These “Friends” will lend their services to a musician in need of a safe harbor and buffer from the temptations they face on the road. Being a friend will be on your terms – you can help as often or little as you would like and when your schedule allows.
Need A Friend?
We are accepting submissions for music people in need of our program: musicians, road crew, sound and production engineers, or anyone making their living in a music venue.
